Technical Support Specialist

Job Description

Venator Broadcast are working with a global leader within Broadcast graphics creation who are seeking a Technical Support Specialist. The position will require you to draw upon your technical expertise, assistance and project coordination skills needed to install software, modify or repair hardware and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities:

-Respond to all incoming calls and emails from customers in a timely fashion.
Collaborate with the Support Team to find resolutions to customer enquiries and problems.
-Reports effectively with all customers and internal team members.
-Rapidly identify and resolve complex software operational issues at customer sites.
-Answer any requests for hardware RMA requests and assist in completing RMA hardware repair.

-Initiative to pick up new concepts, and always seeking to learn
-Ability to resolve customer issues with tact and professionalism
-You will need to listen closely to customer needs and concerns demonstrating empathy
-Problem solving/troubleshooting skills

Technical Skills:

-Experienced in diagnosing/fixing/troubleshooting hardware and software issues
-Hands on experience with system imaging software
-Knowledge of basic Networking, TCP/IP and Windows file sharing
-Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, through to Windows 10
-Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and SQL is a bonus
-Adobe Photoshop and/or Creative Suite a bonus
-Able to diagnose system problems using a voltmeter
