About the Job
My client is a successful e-commerce brand currently looking for an Insight Analyst (E-commerce, Retail, Data, SQL) to join growing team.
The employee will report into the Head of Data and Deployment within the Global loyalty team. The primary purpose of this role is to enable the loyalty team to have a deep understanding on how customers respond to different marketing activities and their general behaviour/trends.
Gathering and analyzing data from different source: eg: data extraction, data transformation, data manipulation
Conduct complex queries on our data warehouse to prove/disprove hypotheses about the new business initiatives, creative, campaigns, customer behavior, etc.
Analyze campaign performance and provide suggestions to improve and grow the business
Develop customer profiles and segments, describing their behaviors
Translating the data into actionable insight: eg: drawing actionable insights and explaining in a tailored way to your audience
Be the customer expert within the team: what/when/how customer interacts with our website & product range
Challenge and improve existing processes and metrics
Review and interpret automated reporting, giving insight to rest of the team
Be the go-to person for anyone needing analytical support
Define new automated reports required, and work with reporting team to automate them
Opportunity to progress into basic predictive modelling of customer behavior
Who you are - essential skills and experience:
3 years minimum in analytical role such as direct/database marketing analytics, digital marketing
Hands on Experience with SQL, Excel, Python, R
Minimum 2:1 Degree ideally in a numerate discipline from top university
Excellent understanding of digital marketing analytics and the broader concepts of marketing automation, databases and the campaign development and measurement processes.
Previously worked with a large customer database
Highly numerate & analytical with a good attention to detail
Able to work on several projects at the same time and prioritize effectively
Able to work efficiently and deliver projects quickly
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good general business acumen (preferable experience in data-rich analysis-driven organizations)
Ability to build strong working relationships with peers locally and internationally
Fluent in French would be advantageous but not essential
Bonus if you have statistical or modelling experience
Bonus if you have knowledge of Neolane, Google Analytic
