Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Senior PR and Comms Manager (Media Relations,PR Strategy,Stock Options) role within a global lifestyle brand. This Senior PR and Comms Manager (Media Relations,PR Strategy,Stock Options) will be reporting to the UK Managing Director and working closely with the international PR teams in the US and Australia. You will be responsible for building brand preference, initiate and drive creative and out-of-the-box programs.

The Senior PR Manager (Media Relations,PR Strategy,Stock Options) role would suit someone who is adaptable and not afraid to be hands on and playing multiple roles. Growing both quality and quantity of media coverage amongst print, online and broadcast media

Key Roles;

-Develop and deliver a solid, focused and results driven PR strategy across UK & Ireland
-Initiate exciting and innovative PR & buzz marketing efforts and campaigns to help promote the brand, that are closely integrated with overall marketing efforts and can help step-change acquisition efforts
-Build and maintain excellent relationships with appropriate national & regional media contacts across news, lifestyle, and trade
-Deliver competent measurement reports on the business impact of PR initiatives
-Manage and keep enhancing our brand health monitoring program
-Develop a deep knowledge of the current & target user audiences, providing customer and market insights into the organization, and ensuring consumer messaging is segmented and always up to date
-Management of UK PR agency and one direct report, and PR budget
-Manage an editorial calendar and collaborate with our Content & Social team to develop content for both the Advice blog as well as online distribution to aid search engine optimization
-Manage spokespeople, and develop a new influencer program
-Act as a spokesperson for the UK
-Write and edit statements, press releases, contributed stories, presentations and other PR materials
-Identify and leverage appropriate partnerships with external companies and brands
-Actively participate in overall creative and production development process, including TV

The qualifications desired for this role;
-10+ years consumer PR experience either in-house and/or with an agency
-BA or equivalent experience
-Experience managing external agencies to maximise performance
-First class written and oral communication skills
-Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
-Team player who can work effectively in a small, start-up environment & with remote international teams
-Empathetic, personable and affable demeanour
