Product Specialist (Customer Advocate)

Job Description

Venator Broadcast are currently working with leading provider of professional broadcast production software for Graphics, Virtual studio solutions and Asset management tools, seeking a Product Specialist cum Customer Advocate in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a background in motion graphics and television.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
*Train customers on various company software products.
*Work with our team on putting together product demonstrations.
*Advise customers on preferred software and hardware configurations.
*Help on projects by bringing knowledge of the software to the customer.
*Implement and install company products
*Daily contact with global support organisation in APAC.
*Troubleshoot and solve complex customer issues
*Provide patches and updates
*Escalate issues with R&D support and local project team.

Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
*A solid understanding of motion graphics design and TV operations.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Ability to present products and teach others how to use them.
*Computer savvy and good understanding of current broadcast and IT technologies

Additional skills:
*Knowledge of Broadcast Engineering (including various video formats and components).
*Programming knowledge (Python, VBScript, Delphi, Java Script).
*Knowledge of Maya, 3D Max or Cinema 4D.
